Description
Melin Llynon is a complete three-storey windmill tower constructed from rubble masonry and rendered. It features opposing doorways and a single window on each storey facing northwest. The openings have boarded doors and small paned lights, all set within cambered heads and supported by slate sills. Since its restoration, the windmill has been fully operational, equipped with a timber cap and four sails.
The interior has been completely restored and is in full working order, showcasing some original machinery. It includes three pairs of grinding stones, two of which are dressed and actively used for grinding, while the third pair is open and available for public display.
