Description

Over Mill is a tower windmill built around 1860 and restored in the mid-20th century. It is constructed of tarred red brick and consists of four stages topped with a restored conical cap made of aluminium. The mill features a fantail and two double shuttered patent sails. Each storey has fixed cast-iron pointed top pane windows with round heads. Inside, much of the original machinery remains, including two pairs of grinding stones.
