Description

Everton Windmill is a windmill built around 1830. It features a battered circular brick tower that was formerly tarred, with stone sills and cogged eaves, divided into four stages. All openings have segmental heads. The ground floor includes doorways on the north and south sides, as well as unglazed windows on the east and west sides. Each stage above has two windows, all unglazed but originally designed for single-light glazing bar casements. Higher up, there are remnants of the cap and the fantail stage. Inside, the windmill contains a main post, tentering gear, and a single pair of stones.
