Description
North End Cottage is an early 19th-century brick cottage that has been rendered and features a pantile roof. The building has stone sills and rendered eaves, with one gable and one rear wall stack. It stands two storeys high and consists of two bays, with the entrance located on the left side.
The main west front displays, on the left, two glazing bar sash windows, and on the right, a full-height glazing bar sash window. Above these, to the right, are two additional glazing bar sashes. The north gable features a 19th-century moulded panelled timber doorcase with a moulded architrave and hood, which frames a four-panel door with a glazing bar overlight. Above this doorcase, there is a single glazing bar sash, and above that, another similar sash.
At the rear, there is a lean-to extension from the 19th century, which is also brick and has a pantiled roof. Surrounding the property is a brick boundary wall topped with stone coping, which includes a ramp and an elliptical-headed gateway.
