House, formerly vicarage early C19, altered mid C19. Brick, stuccoed, hipped slate roof; stone sills, deep moulded eaves, 2 roof stacks, square plan with projecting wing to west, 2 storeys, 4 bays. North front has engaged 2 bay portico with 2 Tuscan columns, moulded cornice on central scrolled brackets; above moulded segmental pediment with arched central portion; central blank panel flanked by single glazing bar French windows. Beyond on either side, single glazing bar casements with segmental heads and moulded arched pediments on scrolled brackets. Above 2 similar flanking windows, central pair of casements with moulded hoods on curved brackets. To right, semi-circular bow window with 3 glazing bar sashes; above large Yorkshire sash with moulded architrave and hood. Street front has 2 glazing bar French windows flanked by engaged Tuscan colonettes carrying moulded hoods. Above 2 casements with Tuscan colonettes on panelled square bases carrying segmental moulded hoods. West front has central Doric portico containing cove moulded timber doorcase with colonettes; geometrical overlight and C19 half glazed door.
