Description
White Lodge is an early 19th-century house with a brick exterior that has been stuccoed and features a hipped slate roof. The building has a rendered plinth and stone sills, along with two sidewall stacks. It is two storeys high and has three bays in an L-plan layout. The front of the house includes a central stone doorcase with a panelled architrave and a moulded hood, leading to a 20th-century close-boarded door. On either side of the door are single glazing bar sash windows with recessed panels below. Above the door, there are three more glazing bar sashes. The rear of the house features a 20th-century glazed porch and door, with a single glazing bar sash window to the left and two sashes above, one of which has glazing bars. The left side of the house has a single round-headed glazing bar sash. Surrounding the property along Chapel Lane is a stone-coped and ramped brick boundary wall, which includes two square brick gate piers that have recessed panels and moulded square stone caps.
