Description
Glebe Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage that features a brick exterior which is rendered and color washed, topped with a pantiled roof. The building has a first-floor band and cogged eaves, with a brick coped gable and a kneeler. It stands two storeys high and consists of three bays. The central entrance is a 20th-century panelled door, with a two-light Yorkshire sash window to the left and a single glazing bar fixed light to the right. Beyond this is a 19th-century half-glazed door. Above the entrance, there is a central blank panel flanked by segmental heads and two single two-light Yorkshire sash windows. To the left of the main structure, there is a 19th-century lean-to extension with a brick-rendered pantiled roof, featuring a 19th-century six-panel door and a single fixed light to the left. A similar lean-to extension is located at the rear of the cottage.
