Description
The Windmill is a tower windmill built in the mid-19th century and raised in the late 19th century. It is constructed of red brick, which has a faded colourwash at the base, and features some black brick. The top is made of concrete and has chain railings around its circumference. There is a moulded eaves band made of black brick headers. The windmill has four storeys, including the top storey added in the late 19th century.
On the east side, there is a single segmental arched window opening, with a similar blocked opening above it. The north side features two similar openings, with the upper one being glazed and having glazing bars. The west side has a segmental arched doorway with a plank door, and above it is a single glazed window, with another similar glazed window above that. The south side has no openings. The interior has not been inspected but is reported not to contain any milling machinery.
