Description

Sibsey House is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and has a hipped slate roof with bracketed and moulded eaves and a single red brick stack at the rear ridge. The house is set on a plinth and is two storeys high, with three bays. The central doorway has a part-glazed door, a decorative overlight, and a fielded panel reveal, and is flanked by single Doric pilasters with a triglyph frieze and an open modillion pediment. To either side of the doorway are single glazing bar sash windows. There are three similar sash windows above. All the sashes are under cambered arches with flush wedge brick lintels.
