Description

Melin Gwalchmai is a three-storey windmill tower that stands full-height and has a circular plan with slightly tapering walls made of rubble masonry, which was once rendered. The ground floor features doorways with segmental heads made of rough voussoirs, while rectangular windows are present on the upper levels. The mill is now topped with a concealed flat roof. Additionally, there is a narrow tunnel that connects the eastern side of the mill to the adjoining former engine shed, which is constructed of corrugated iron.
