Description

Melin y bont is a full height, 5-storey windmill tower that has a circular plan and slightly tapering walls made of rubble masonry, which is partly rendered. The tower is capped with corrugated iron. It features doorways at the ground floor and rectangular windows on the upper levels, all with freestone surrounds. Inside, there are some remains of the machinery, which are now damaged and lying at the base of the mill, making the site derelict and overgrown.
