Description
No 2 Tan Bryn is part of a pair of villas located on Stryd y Bont, Bridge Street. These buildings are symmetrically designed as a single composition and stand two storeys high. They feature a four-window arrangement that is organized in a 1-2-1 pattern, with advanced outer gabled wings connected by a timber verandah that has radial decoration fanning between bracing struts. The walls are rendered with imitation ashlar scoring on the left side, topped with a roof made of thin slates, which has projecting gable verges and bargeboards. There are three brick stacks, rendered, with one positioned centrally and one at each end. Each house has an entrance located at the angle of the main range and wing, featuring a four-panelled door, with an added porch on the right-hand dwelling. The windows are tall two-light casements with small panes, and the windows in the gables have moulded architraves.
