Description
Bryn Lwyd is a simplified Italianate-style villa built in the 19th century. It is two storeys high, with the main front featuring a four-window range on the left and an advanced bay on the right. The exterior is stucco rendered and includes prominent moulded features such as an eaves cornice, stressed angle quoins, a string course, and a sill band for the first-floor windows. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, with rendered stacks at both ends. The windows are two-pane sashes set within moulded architraves that have stressed keystones. The right side of the villa has a full-height squared bay with tripartite sashes on each floor, and the ground floor windows are topped with pediments supported by moulded brackets. The entrance is located at the rear and consists of a panelled double door, positioned to the right of a single-storey extension at the back.
