Description
The Church of St. Cadwaladr features a Celtic Revival memorial cross, which is set on a rectangular plinth with tapering sides. The cross has a rectangular shape with a slightly tapering shaft and square-ended arms. It is adorned with roll-moulding at the angles, and both the shaft and arms are decorated with intricate Celtic knotwork in relief. Each side of the cross has a circular recess that contains a pictorial representation of a tower and a raven. The plinth includes a recessed panel with the inscription: "Erected by Sir George E W T Meyrick Bart. In loving memory of his uncle Owen John Augustus Fuller Meyrick Esquire of Bodorgan. Died February 12th, 1896."
