Description

Sir Robert Lorimer, 1922. White granite celtic high cross with sword

in low relief on shaft. Plinth with double base course, also in white

granite, with inset grey granite inscribed slab. Cross set in semi-

octagonal enclosure, approached by shallow steps, with snecked rubble

enclosing wall. Base course, battered cope, name panels inset on

3 sides, with roll-moulded rybats and lintols.
