Description

The war memorial in Great Glen, located on the north side of London Road, was built around 1920. It is made of granite and features a stepped plinth and pedestal that support a Celtic-type cross, which is intricately carved with a sword in relief. The arms of the cross are connected by curving sections. The front of the pedestal and an inclined tablet on the steps are engraved with the names of those who fell in service. The entire structure stands approximately 3 meters high.
