Description

Trent House is a house dating from the later 18th century. It is constructed of red brick with a Swithland slate roof and brick end stacks. Brick coped, shouldered gables, two brick bands, and brick dentil eaves are notable features. The facade has three storeys with three eight/eight sash windows per floor. There are also three two-light casements on the second floor. The windows are topped with cambered, gauged brick lintels and painted keystones. A central painted stucco doorcase, with pilasters and an entablature, frames a six-panelled door and overlight. Norwich and Royal fire marks are visible above the door. A two-storey, whitewashed rendered wing is located on the left-hand end of the house, featuring sash and casement windows.
