Description
Melin Llanddyfnan, also known as Pen y fan, is a three-storey circular windmill tower. It is constructed from coursed rubble masonry and is rendered. The original window openings feature slate sills, but they now have metal framed casement windows, with one window infilled with brick. The doorway has been enlarged and fitted with modern boarded doors.
The interior was not inspected during the survey, but the owner has stated that it does not contain any of the original mill machinery. There is a staircase leading up to a viewing platform on the roof.
