Lindisfarne, Union Road, Linlithgow

Lindisfarne is an early 19th century, two-storey, three-bay rectangular-plan house featuring a classical entrance. The building is constructed from cream sandstone rubble that is squared, coursed, and stugged on the south elevation, with ashlar dressings. It includes a base, cill and eaves courses, a cornice, a blocking course, and quoin strips.

The south elevation, which serves as the entrance, has a central doorpiece flanked by three-quarter engaged columns, topped with a cornice and blocking course. The entrance features a deep-set fanlight above a flush eight-panelled door with a fluted architrave, with windows on either side. The first floor has regular fenestration with a cill course.

On the north elevation, there are three bays, with a stair window located in the center. The house is fitted with 12-pane sash and case windows. The roof is covered with grey slate and has a piended design, with tall corniced end stacks.

Additionally, there is a boundary wall made of cream sandstone rubble with ashlar coping, and a wrought-iron gate featuring the letter M in a circular panel.
