293 High Street, Linlithgow

293 High Street in Linlithgow is an earlier 18th century single-storey and attic asymmetrical house, formed by the combination of two properties. The building is constructed from cream sandstone rubble and features a slightly taller block on the left side.

The north elevation has six asymmetrical bays. The lower four-bay block on the right has a deep-set door located off-centre to the left, with two windows to the right. There is a segmental-headed archway on the outer right, which has been blocked and now features multi-pane fixed glazing. Above, two windows break the eaves in gabled dormer-heads. The taller block on the left has two windows at ground level.

The east side elevation displays a lop-sided gable with one window on the first floor. The building features 12-pane sash and case windows, a pantiled roof with principal skews that are crowstepped, beak skewputts, and ashlar coped skews above the dormer-headed windows. Sandstone coped stacks are present on the gables.
