Description
1 Delisle Street in Dunbar is a late 18th century, two-storey, symmetrical three-bay house. The building is constructed from sandstone rubble, featuring some large squared blocks, droved ashlar dressings, and plain copings. The north rear and east side are harled, with raised painted margins. The entrance door is recessed and includes a decorative fanlight above it. The windows are plate glass sashes, although the openings at the rear have been altered, and a forestair has been added.
On the east gable, there is a bipartite window on the ground floor and a window on the first floor to the north. The house has a slate roof with a gable stack. In front of the property, there is a rubble garden wall.
