Description
5 Delisle Street in Dunbar is an early 19th-century, two-storey, three-bay classical house. It is constructed from droved red sandstone ashlar and has a rendered finish.
The entrance front features an advanced, pedimented central bay with a simple classical doorway. Above the doorway is a Venetian window set in a recessed panel, and the entrance includes a panelled door with a plate glass fanlight. The building has raised quoins and window margins, and the windows display a four-pane glazing pattern. The eastern angle has undercutting that aligns with the higher mutual gable of the adjoining house.
On the western gable, there is a window located on the south side at both the ground and first floors. The raised red ashlar coping continues horizontally across the stack.
