Description
212-214 High Street in Linlithgow is an early 19th-century, two-storey and attic house featuring classical details and a four-bay design. The south elevation is constructed from squared and coursed sandstone rubble, with a base course and a lintel course above the first-floor windows, which have raised margins.
The entrance elevation includes a pilastered and painted doorpiece that features a panelled door and a radial fanlight, flanked by windows. To the outer left, there is a segmental-arched carriage pend. The first floor has regular fenestration.
The windows are plate glass sash and case, with four panes in the dormers. The roof is covered with grey slate and features two canted slate-hung dormers with piended roofs, broad stacks at the gables, and ashlar coped skews.
