Description

Earlier 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay classicaly detailed tenement with carriage pend, shop at ground. Cream sandstone rubble, rusticated at ground to S elevation, rendered and lined to 1st floor. Base course, cornice, blocking course with decorative tablet to centre. Architraves and decorated cills to windows at 1st floor. Rusticated quoins.

S (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: tripartie shop to left, fanlit door to centre flanked by large shop windows. Segmental-arched pend to right with iron runners set into setts.

N (REAR) ELEVATION: 3 bays with projecting lean-to stair block.

12-pane sash and case windows. Grey slate roof, ashlar coped skews, rendered gable stacks, single modern rooflight to centre at S face, 3 to rear, 2 modern.
