Description
Close at 106 High Street in Dunbar is a row of four 17th-century, two-storey houses that are adjacent to No. 108 High Street to the east. The buildings are constructed of red sandstone rubble, with some weathered ashlar dressings visible and some timber lintels replaced. They feature pantiled roofs. While the openings have been altered, there are still some small-pane glazing present. The central three-bay block is recessed, and the first-floor window is raised, breaking the eaves. The west gable of the end house has modernised first-floor windows, and there is brickwork repair below the former stack. The rear walls are part of the close leading to 110 High Street.
