Description

126 and 128 High Street in Dunbar is a mid-18th century, three-storey, three-bay tenement building. It is constructed from sandstone rubble that is harled, with contrasting painted cement margins, cill, and lintel courses. The building features regular fenestration with a 12-pane glazing pattern, and the original shutters are still present. The entrance is located by a close to the north. The roof is pantiled with a piended design, and it has ridge tiles along with a slate easing course at the eaves. There is a rendered stack as well. At the rear, there is a projecting stair tower topped with a pentice roof, along with a single-storey extension.
