Football And Cricketers Arms, 111-113 High Street, Linlithgow

The Football and Cricketers Arms is a two-storey and attic tenement building dating from around 1800, located at 111-113 High Street in Linlithgow. The building features three bays and houses licensed premises on the ground floor. The northern elevation is rendered, lined, and painted, with raised margins and an eaves-lintel course.

On the northern entrance elevation, there is a centrally recessed door flanked by large paired windows, with fluted pilasters on either side and a corniced timber fascia above. The first floor has three windows.

The eastern side elevation includes a door on the outer left and a window with an iron grille beside it, along with a low blocked former door to the right. There is also a first-floor window on the outer left.

The first-floor windows are plate glass sash and case. The roof is covered with grey slate and features a canted piended slate-hung dormer at the center, with ashlar coped skews and a broad rendered stack on the eastern gable. A decorative wrought-iron bracket supports the shop sign.
