34-36 Union Street, Campbeltown

34-36 Union Street in Campbeltown is a two-storey and attic tenement building dating from around 1800. It originally had two bays and was later raised to include an attic. The exterior features roughcast walls with margins and projecting window sills on each floor. The entrance door is located at the outer left, while a shop door is positioned on the right, flanked by rectangular windows and topped with a timber fascia.

The rear elevation is also roughcast and includes a cement-rendered and lined stair leading to the first floor. The shop windows are made of plate glass, and the first floor and attic have four-pane timber sash and case windows, although the rear elevation has modern windows. The building has flush-beaded two-leaf four-panel storm doors, and the inner door is panelled with two round-arched glazed upper panels and a three-pane fanlight above. The roof is grey slate, piend-roofed, with timber slate-hung dormers that break the eaves.
