11, 13 Union Street, Campbeltown

11 and 13 Union Street in Campbeltown is a mid-19th century, two-storey and attic, four-bay tenement with a shopfront and classical details, situated on a corner site. The principal front is smoothly rendered and painted, while the gable end is roughcast with droved ashlar dressings.

On the southeast (principal) front, there are four rectangular openings with roll-moulded surrounds at the ground floor. To the left, there is a symmetrical shopfront in three bays, featuring an entrance door at the center flanked by windows with stall risers and projecting cills. To the outer right, there is a round-arched architraved entrance door set in a recess. A moulded cill course runs along the first floor, topped with superimposed projecting cills. The eaves are adorned with a frieze and cornice.

The southwest (side) elevation has two windows at the first floor to the left of center, along with a single window in the gablehead to the left of center. The upper floors feature plate glass timber sash and case windows, and the entrance door is a four-panel, two-leaf design. The roof is covered with grey slate, and there are timber slate-hung piend-roofed canted dormers, along with a cast-iron downpipe to the outer right. The northeast gable has a rendered and coped stack, with the skews removed.
