354 Main Street, Alexandria

354 Main Street in Alexandria is a later 19th-century, two-storey, three-bay villa with a rectangular plan, designed in a sub-Thomson style. The building is constructed from stugged, squared, and snecked sandstone, featuring sandstone margins and dressings. It has a base course and advanced eaves. The windows are round-headed and defined by voussoirs.

On the east (main) elevation, there is a shallow gabled bay that is slightly advanced to the outer left. It features a projecting corniced square window at the ground level with brattishing, and a bipartite round-headed window on the first floor. To the right, there are steps leading to a narrow doorway with a panelled door, a moulded architrave, and a pedimented plaque inscribed "St Anne's" above the door, along with a roundel above it. A tripartite window is located at the ground level to the outer right, with a round-headed dormer head above.

The windows are plate glass timber sash and case, with stained glass upper lights on the first floor. The roof is covered with grey slate and features lead flashings, along with corniced apex stacks.

The boundary wall is a low rubble wall with slab coping and modern railings.
