Description
The mill at the Port of Rossdhu is an earlier 19th century gabled, rectangular-plan barn with classical detailing. It is constructed of rubble with a harled finish, featuring sandstone margins and dressings.
On the main elevation, there is a gable with a blind Venetian window at ground level and a blocked window above. The first side elevation has a hoist door located under the eaves at the center, a door to the right, and a small window to the outer right. The second side elevation features an off-centre boarded door to the right, flanked by blocked windows, and a low single-storey wing to the outer left with a corrugated iron roof.
The building has a graded grey slate roof with lead flashings, ashlar coping to the skews, and a 2-pane cast-iron rooflight.
