Description
The Ice House at Rossdhu is a late 18th century domed structure built into a small mound located to the north of the chapel. The entrance on the north side features ashlar facing, while the rest of the structure is covered with earth. There is a barred ventilation opening at ground level on the east side of the dome. The north side has a lower-level door, which consists of an outer steel door and a deep-set inner door, both of which are now barred. Inside, the Ice House has a brick-lined interior with a domed roof.
