Description
Sterinbeg and its outbuilding are mid 19th century structures. The cottage is a single-storey, three-bay building that is harled with granite dressings. It features a panelled door at the centre of the southeast elevation, which is accompanied by a two-pane fanlight and pilastered jambs, with windows on either side. There are two canted, piend-roofed dormers, and a window on each gabled return elevation towards the rear.
The free-standing outbuilding, located at right angles to the rear of the cottage, is constructed from gabled harl-pointed rubble and has two doors on the northeast elevation, while the other sides are blank.
The cottage has sash and case windows with a 12-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with grey slates and has a clay ridge, gablehead stacks, and ashlar coped skews. Additionally, there is a rubble boundary wall lining the roadside.
