Description
Allalogie Cottage is an earlier 19th century, single-storey, three-bay, rectangular-plan cottage that faces east. It has a symmetrical design with regular window placement on the front. The central door features a letterbox fanlight and is flanked by narrow rectangular windows. There is a single window at the rear and on the north side, with a timber lean-to on the south side. The windows are 10-pane sash and case style. The roof is covered with grey slates and has lead flashing, while the gables are topped with coped stacks.
Adjacent to the cottage is a later 19th century single-storey, rectangular-plan gabled byre located to the northeast. It is constructed with coursed granite and has raised concrete skews. The roof is made of corrugated iron, and there are boarded timber doors on the side elevation facing the cottage. The interior of the cottage was not seen in 2002.
