Description
The building is a chapel located at Scottish Churches House on Kirk Street in Dunblane, dating from the earlier to mid-16th century. It was restored and dedicated as a chapel around 1960. The structure is a single-storey, rectangular-plan vaulted chamber, which likely represents the remains of a larger building, and is built into sloping ground. It is constructed of rubble with sandstone dressings. The chapel currently has a flat roof, with later 20th-century flagstones laid across it. The west elevation features openings with relieving arches, including an entrance on the left with a moulded chamfered lintel and a narrow window on the right. The interior has a barrel-vaulted ceiling and includes two aumbry recesses built into the east wall.
