Description

5-7 Castlegate in Lanark is an early 19th-century, three-storey, three-bay house that features a later shop on the ground floor and a pend on the left side. The building is rendered, with some areas painted. It has three windows on the first and second floors, which have painted margins. The roof has straight skews and an end stack, but it has been lowered and is now covered with asbestos tiles.
