Description

Cullen, Lochhead and Brown 1903. Scots Renaissance,

stugged coursers with polished ashlar dressings.

MAIN BUILDING: Asymmetrical composition, Cadzow Street

elevation has crowstepped gable with tripartite windows

on left, baluster shafted with segmental pediment at

first; right hand section 4 steeply pedimented windows

and central arched doorpiece with raised voussoirs

and curvilinear pediment broken by scroll pedimented

cartouche with inscription 'Lodge no. 7'; 4 first floor

dormerhead windows set in balustraded parapet with

semicircular pediments broken by obelisks; Lower

Auchingramont Road frontage has 2-window gable with

central first floor canted criel on left, conical-roofed

stair tower in re-entrant angle; recessed link with

balustraded porch and 2-window crowstepped gablet, lower

gable front to right with corbelled angle rounds and

large round arched 3-light window with balcony at first

floor. Railed area.

NO. 106:- 2-storey, pilastered doorpiece with ball

finials on right and 3- light window on left at ground

floor, 4 windows under deeply shadowed eaves at first

floor.
