Description
The building is a former school and schoolhouse from the early 19th century, with later additions. It is a single-storey structure with an attic, originally designed in a rectangular plan but altered to an irregular plan due to the additions. The exterior features painted rubble with painted ashlar dressings, ashlar-coped gables on the south and east sides, bargeboarded gables elsewhere, and coped stacks. The windows are single margined but have inappropriate uPVC frames.
On the front elevation, there is a porch at the centre that masks the door, with a window to the right and a gabled dormer above. To the left, there is a single-storey bay that projects forward, featuring a window, and a window on the left return. There are also single-storey bays on both the left and right sides, each with a window.
The rear elevation has not been seen, and the interior has also not been seen.
