Description

Later 19th century. Single storey, basically rectangular plan, school. Painted rubble sandstone with ashlar dressings, slate roof with moulded bargeboards at overhanging gables. Stop-chamfered doorcases, single, bi- and tri-partite 2-pane timber sash and case windows with chamfered margins; single coped stack.

FRONT ELEVATION: main block to centre with 2 slightly advanced gabled bays, each with bipartite window and diamond pattern moulded ornament at gable, singlewindow to left return, tripartite to right return; slightly lower block set-back to left with door and window; small entrance porch set-back to right with door, window to right return.

REAR ELEVATION: plain.2 rooflights, window to far right.

INTERIOR: not seen, although likely to retain original fittings such as boarded panelling, doors etc.
