Description
Wampherflatt, located on Braxfield Road in Lanark, dates from around 1800. This two-storey building features three bays and is finished in painted render with flush margins. The south elevation showcases a central doorpiece flanked by engaged Roman Doric columns and an entablature. There are three windows on the first floor, and the building is topped with a cornice and blocking course. The piended slate roof has end stacks. At the rear, there is a wing and a stair turret, along with a brick-walled garden to the east, which includes moulded ridge tiles.
