Description

42 Wellgate in Lanark is an earlier 19th-century building featuring two storeys and an attic with one window. The exterior is made of painted droved ashlar with raised margins. There is a door located in the narrow left bay and one window to the right. A lintel course runs over the ground floor windows, with an additional window on the first floor and an eaves course. The building also has one piended dormer and is topped with a slate roof.
