Description

39 Wellgate in Lanark is a mid-19th century building featuring two storeys with an attic and three bays. The structure is constructed with coursed stone, showcasing both stugged and droved ashlar dressings. The ground floor has a modern shop front, but the original cornice is still visible above it. On the first floor, there are three pedimented sash windows, along with a main cornice. The building is topped with two canted stone dormers and has a slate roof. At the rear, there is a two-storey piended wing.
