Description

31 and 33 High Street in Sanquhar is a mid-19th century building featuring two storeys and an attic, arranged in three bays. The ground floor has been altered by a modern shop front. The first floor is finished in polished red ashlar and includes decorative architraves, a moulded string at the cill level, and an eaves cornice. The building has saw-toothed skews and two canted dormers with curved roofs, as well as end stacks and slated roofs.
