Description

Inver House, located at 5 Bogton Place in Forres, dates from around 1825. This two-storey building features three bays, with the main structure harled and the central bay accented by ashlar margins and angle-strips. The recessed central bay includes a doorpiece with Roman Doric columns, a cornice, and a parapet, while the eaves are corbelled at the center. The original windows maintain a 12-pane glazing pattern. The house has end stacks and a slate roof. There is a modern single-storey lean-to addition at the eastern gable.
