Rhyber Lodge, 26, 26A Cleghorn Road, Lanark

Rhyber Lodge is a mid-19th century Jacobethan building located at 26 and 26A Cleghorn Road in Lanark. It is two storeys high and features five asymmetrical bays. The exterior is constructed of coursed rubble with painted and stugged dressings and quoins.

On the right side, there are two taller bays, with the entrance situated in the left bay. This entrance has a moulded and carved architrave topped with a flat Jacobethan pediment. Above the entrance, there is one window with a narrow light set in a gable that has a finial. To the right, there is a recessed bay that includes a two-storey canted projection with battlements and a gable at the wall-head. The building has straight skews, a slate roof, and octagonal flues.

To the left, there are three symmetrical bays featuring a central door and one window to the right. The left side has a battlemented canted bay. On the first floor, there are three windows, with the central window having a hood mould. The wall-head gable is adorned with a fleur de lis finial, and the building also has straight skews and a slate roof.
