11 Wellington Square, Ayr

11 Wellington Square in Ayr is an earlier 19th-century, two-storey house with an attic and basement, forming part of a terrace. The building is constructed of painted ashlar and features banded rustication at the basement, a ground floor band course, an eaves course, a cornice, and a blocking course. The windows are architraved, with square brackets at the lower cill corners on the ground floor, and a cornice above the ground floor window.

The south elevation, which is the entrance side, has a stepped platt that oversails the basement to the outer right. It features a corniced, consoled, block-pedimented doorpiece with a timber door and a segmental umbrella fanlight. Above this, there is a single window aligned at the first floor, and below, a timber door aligned with the basement. There is also a three-light fanlight. To the left, there are single windows at the basement, ground, and first floors, and a single dormer at the attic to the outer left.

The interior was not seen in 1998. Additionally, there are railings and a gate, with ashlar copes topped by spear-headed iron railings, and urn finials that delineate the sections, with a gate located to the left.
