Description

Mid 19th century. 3-storey and attic, 5-bay Renaissance tenement. Painted. Base course; modillion cornice to shopfront; 2nd floor cill course; eaves course; cornice; balustraded parapet with dies; pilaster strip quoins. Arcade of round-arched 1st floor windows; channelled pilasters to springing line.

NW (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: timber door; letterbox fanlight to outer right. Recessed central entrance to shop at ground floor; multi-paned letterbox fanlight; pilastered shop windows flanking. Regular fenestration at 1st and 2nd floors (central window at 2nd floor blind). 2 canted dormers at attic.

Shop windows at ground floor; multi-paned to upper section; 12-pane timber sash and case windows at 1st floor; fanlights above springing line; plate glass timber sash and case windows at 2nd floor; 4-pane timber sash and case windows (2-pane to canted sides) at attic. Grey slate roof; Gablehead stack to right; circular cans.
