Description
This mid-19th century house is a two-storey and attic, four-bay structure that is part of a terrace. It features polished ashlar stonework with a vermiculated base course, a first-floor cill course, a cornice, and a blocking course. The ground floor windows have blocked cills and shouldered designs, while the first-floor windows are framed with architraves.
On the north elevation, the entrance includes an architraved doorpiece on the outer left and a corniced, block-pedimented pilastered doorpiece to the left, both with timber doors and rectilinear-pattern letterbox fanlights. There is an additional lower letterbox fanlight at the outer left entrance. To the right of the entrance, there are two single windows, and the first floor exhibits regular fenestration, although the window on the outer left is blind. An attic dormer with a piended roof is located on the outer right.
The house has 12-pane timber sash and case windows on the ground and first floors, and 16-pane windows in the attic. The roof is covered with grey slate and includes a rooflight, stone skews, and a gablehead stack on the right side, along with circular cans.
The interior was not seen in 1998. Additionally, there are spear-headed iron railings at the entrances.
