24 Wellington Square

24 Wellington Square is an early 19th-century, two-storey house with a basement and attic, part of a terrace. It features a classical design with painted ashlar stonework. The exterior includes a ground floor band course, an eaves course, a cornice, and a blocking course, with painted margins around the window openings.

The north elevation, which is the entrance side, has a central stepped platform that overhangs the basement. It showcases a corniced, block-pedimented doorpiece with a two-leaf timber door and a letterbox fanlight above. There is a single window directly above on the first floor, and a boarded timber door aligned below at the basement level. The flanking bays have regular fenestration at the basement, ground, and first floors, with tripartite windows on the ground floor. A central piended dormer is present in the attic.

The windows are plate glass timber sash and case types, with a 16-pane window at the basement. The roof is covered with grey slate, featuring rooflights, coped stacks, and circular cans. The interior was not seen in 1998.
