18 Wellington Square

18 Wellington Square is an early 19th century, two-storey house with a basement and attic, forming part of a terrace. It is constructed of painted ashlar and features a ground floor band course, eaves course, cornice, blocking course, and strip quoins. The window openings have painted margins.

The north elevation, which serves as the entrance, has a central stepped platform that overhangs the basement. It includes a corniced, block-pedimented doorpiece with a two-leaf timber door and a three-light letterbox fanlight above. There is a single window aligned above on the first floor and a glazed timber door aligned below at the basement. The flanking bays feature regular fenestration across the basement, ground, and first floors, with tripartite windows on the ground floor and two small additional windows to the left at the basement. The attic has two piended dormers on the outer right and left.

The windows are predominantly 12-pane timber sash and case, with secondary glazing on the central first-floor window. The roof is covered with grey slate and includes coped stacks with circular cans. The interior was not seen in 1998.
